MR. HENRY ALBERT ROLLING, JR., age 71, of 329 Mechelle Way, Augusta, GA passed on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at his residence. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
Henry Rolling, Jr. was born on Saturday, May 8, 1954, in Augusta, GA to the late Ruby Mae Jackson and the late Henry Rollings Sr. He passed away at his residence in Augusta, GA on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
He began his childhood education by attending the former Mount Gilead School of Dearing, GA and continued his education at T.W. Josey High in Augusta, GA.
Henry attended the United House of Prayer For All People in Dearing, GA with his mother. He was baptized as an infant and continued throughout his lifetime. His last visit at the United House of Prayer For All People was at East Boundary Mission in Augusta GA.
Henry was gainfully employed with Dixie Riverside. He retired after 38 years of dedicated service.
He was a man who left footprints wherever he went, footprints of courage, compassion, humor, inspiration, joy, and faith. Henry truly loved his family with all his heart. He believed in making memories and capturing the moments he spent with his family. Within our family, he was known as our family's photographer.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a son, Jimel, Sr. (Ciera) Rolling of Augusta, GA; seven grandchildren, Tiyana Brown, Jimel Rolling Jr., Jakeria Rolling, Jimora Rolling, Jimeah Rolling, Ji'Den Rolling and Jimena Rollings, all of Augusta GA; two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Lowe and Jamere Rolling, both of Augusta, GA; three brothers, Kenneth (Jacquelyn) Jackson of Augusta, GA, Bernard Williams of Thomson GA and Brian Rolling of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Jessie Jackson of Atlanta GA, Barbara Harris of Dearing, GA and Johnnie Mae Mance of Thomson, GA; two aunts, Laurell Rolling of Augusta, GA and Rozell Spillman of Florida; a devoted friend, Ray Pinkston of Thomson GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and additional friends.
