Henry Rucker Obituary
Henry was born February 13, 1953 in Elberton, GA to Larry Warren Rucker, Sr. and Clara Yeargin Rucker. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired diesel mechanic.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer and Jeremy Partain of Elberton, Andrea and Jason Marlow of Elberton; sisters: Betty Jean Erwin of Elberton, Lula Owens of Elberton; grandchildren: Alex and Emily Marlow, Ashton Rousey, Jaleigh Partain, Aiken Marlow, Juliette Partain and Joyanna Partain; great-grandchild Oaklynn Pianco and one on the way.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years: Donna Anderson Rucker; grandchildren: Julianna Grace, Jake and two infant baby angels and a brother: Larry Warren Rucker, Jr.
Funeral services to celebrate Henry’s life will be held 2PM, Wednesday, May 1 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Jeremy Partain, Jason Marlow, Jay Anderson, Aiken Marlow, Jason Floyd and Pete Higginbotham serving as pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of Andrea and Jason Marlow, 1728 Calhoun Falls Hwy. Elberton and will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home.
Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Henry L. Rucker.
