My dearest brother,
From 1973 we pledged Sigma Chi together and created a life long friendship. I will miss you my brother. You always were a special man. Gifted and respected by everyone who met you.
I had the privilege to get to know your family. Mom, Dad, Pete, Ted (my little brother) and Tim. It has been my honor to know all.
We spent significant time together early but never lost the friendship for a moment. You were an inspiration to many.
I will see you again soon my friend. Leave the door open. I might need an extra key to get in!!! Who could ever forget those fantastic days back in 1973 & 1974 at HOJO'S where you made life much better.
You will be missed. There were (7) of us and we are now only (4). God bless you and your family.
IHSV,
Billy Bowlin

Bud will always remain in our hearts. He was a wonderful gentleman and has a beautiful family. I am honored to know him and his family. Our prayers go out to the family during this troubling time. Should you need anything, please ask. His legend continues to be shared and remembered.
