Henry Martin Sinasky was born on October 23, 1953 in Worcester, Massachusetts and died in Danielson, CT on January 1, 2023. He was predeceased by his mother, Halina S. Sinasky and his father, Henry A. Sinasky as well as his sister Halina H. Suitum. He is survived by his younger brother, Joseph Sinasky of Worcester, his sister, Catherine Sally Shapiro, and her husband, Dr. Bradley Shapiro of Narragansett, RI, their son Jared Shapiro of Middletown, CT and brother-in-law, Francis Suitum of Moosup, CT.
Henry graduated from the Worcester Public Schools. He attended Seven Hills Foundations, Inc. in Worcester, Massachusetts for many years. He was an active participant in Special Olympics as a swimmer participating in many swim meets throughout the state. He attended many dances in his youth at the Carl Gordon Lodge of Worcester.
He lived with his sister, Halina Suitum, as well as his brother-in-law, Francis Suitum in Connecticut for many years and they both took excellent care of him. Previously, he resided with his mother in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Henry had a special relationship with his sisters who protected him during his childhood and Halina and her husband Fran took care of him for the majority of his life. For many years, Henry used a walker to get around although he gradually lost strength in his legs and could no longer live at home.
After Henry lost his sister Halina, his sister Catherine took over his care. She was his guardian and arranged to have Henry live at Davis Rehabilitation Center in Danielson, CT. where he received excellent care and she traveled to Connecticut weekly to make sure that he was well cared for and happy. It became part of her regular routine to visit Henry, look at his Elvis books with him or help him play BINGO. He spent many hours listening and singing to music by Elvis Presley and wore out many books with pictures of Elvis Presley's life that he carried around in his wheelchair as he wandered through the halls of Davis Place stopping to show his pictures to the staff.
Henry was a gentle and caring man, always with a smile.
Henry's approach to life was simple. He made people smile. He lived in the moment and loved interacting with other people. When Henry met someone he would either shake their hand, give a hug and kiss to someone close, or just smile and say "hey man". It was difficult not to smile after interacting with Henry. Sometimes it was just the funny way he said things.
Thanks to all of the Staff at Davis Place and Masonicare of CT for their compassionate care of Henry.
Henry will be missed by all.
Funeral arrangements are private. There will be a memorial service this summer in Henry's memory. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made.to the Seven Hills Foundation of Worcester, Massachusetts in memory of Henry M. Sinasky

Henry was an amazing guy. Every single staff member, resident and visitor he came in contact with was impacted by his infectious smile and became a fast friend. He was loved by all. I am grateful to have known him for just a fraction of the wonderful life he was able to live. All the love to Kakie, Husband and the rest of his family and friends. I hope your grief is met with joyous memories of Henry.

Henry you will be miss. No more hearing nursy, hair soft like feathers and tylenol called exit pill. He brought a lot of joy to davis place. Rest in peace and fly with the angels. You will be missed. Glad I got to take care of you.
