Henry A. "Hank" Williams, age 82, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Born in Odessa, FL on January 21, 1943, he was a son of the late Henry R. and Pharisee Marie (Johnson) Williams. Hank graduated from high school in 1960 as the top machinist in his class. He always had a passion for learning and understanding how things worked. On March 11, 1968, Hank began his career at Merrill Lynch. He later decided to continue his education by going back to college at night, and in 1983, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. This had a positive impact on Hank's career. He received several promotions and earned the title of vice president overseeing 438 employees. Hank loved his job and the people he worked with. In 1980, Hank received the Black Achievers Award for the Securities Industry, this was the highlight of his career. He continued to have a prosperous career until his retirement in 1996.

Hank met the love of his life in 1964, Jessie Seward, who lived across the street from him in Harlem, NY. They were happily married on September 17, 1966. Their union produced two sons, Michael and Kurt. They lovingly called him "Pop". Hank spent his life being the best man he could be to his family and friends. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jessie M. (Seward) Williams; sons, Michael Williams, and Kurt Williams; grandsons, Reese Williams, and Navel Williams; sister, Denise Bailey; and brother, Willy James Mills.

All services will be held privately.
