Herbert Hertz Obituary
WORCESTER-Herbert Hertz 68, of 25 Stebbins St. died Saturday, June 4 at home.
He leaves his wife of 26 years, Carol M. Cote; eight stepchildren, Darnell Cote of Webster, Christine Robert of Charlton, Lisa Valerio and Pamela O'Keefe both of Auburn, Thomas Cote of Millbury, Bruce Cote of West Boylston, Judy Cote and Robert Cote of Texas; two sisters, Doris O'Keefe of Worcester and Sandra Gradowski of Worcester; 14 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was born in Worcester son of Herman and Rita (Brigham) Hertz and graduated from South High School. Mr. Hertz was a painter in the Worcester area and also worked security for Ferraro Security.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. A calling hour will held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the morning of the service. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UMass Memorial Home Health & Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
