Herbert Anthony Maison II

Herbert Anthony Maison II, 79, of Kalkaska, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1945, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to the late Herbert and Sally (Knight) Maison. Herbert was a man of strong character -- stubborn and strong-willed. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods. He had a big heart for animals, loved listening to blues music, and was a fan of bowling. He is survived by his children: Marsha (Pete) Salome, Herbert III (Dana) Maison, Donald (Kila) Maison, and Martha (Darryl) Cambrell; grandchildren: Sabrina, Holly, Peter, Neil, Ryan, Nicholas, Katherine, and Wyatt; and great-grandchildren: Mark, Ace, Alexander, William, Benjamin, Eleanor, and Madeline. He also leaves behind his siblings: Robin, Sally, and Bill. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Michael and James. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
