Herbert F. Wass

Herb Wass was one-of-a-kind. I had the pleasure of getting to know him when I befriended the amazing women in his life after moving to Topsfield. He and Dottie were a perfect complementary pair. Their best qualities were handed down to their incredible daughters and on to the next generation as well. I was truly honored when Herb adopted me as a goddaughter. People like Herb (and his loved ones) are what make Topsfield and Oak Bluffs such wonderful communities. The positive energy, generosity, and enthusiasm that Herb brought to his adopted towns is a legacy he leaves behind. I will always have a special place in my heart for my beloved godfather. And every time I bite into a dessert bar from Espresso Love I will smile because I am thinking of Herb.
