Heriberto Flores

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Heriberto Flores, who left us peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on January 7, 1935, in Mexico, Heriberto was a beloved son of Cenovio Flores and Ramona Garcia, both of whom preceded him in death.

Heriberto was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Blanca Flores, and his son, Heriberto Flores Jr. Heriberto is survived by his children: Javier Flores (Maricela), Aida Venegas (Juan), Elizabeth Hernandez (Jose), Rene Flores (Nereida), and Martha Torres (Juan). He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and a great-great-grandfather to ten cherished great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 09:00 PM at The Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, TX, located at 1005 W. Expressway 83. A rosary will be recited on the same evening at 07:00 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 916 S Leo Ave, La Joya, TX. Following the service, burial will be at La Joya City Cemetery, La Joya, TX, at 12:00 PM.

Con profundo pesar, despedimos a Heriberto Flores, de 90 años, que falleció el 17 de noviembre de 2025. Heriberto nació el 7 de enero de 1935 a sus amorosos padres, Cenovio Flores y Ramona Garcia en México. Heriberto fue un querido esposo, padre, hijo, abuelo y hermano, cuya vida dejó una huella imborrable en quienes lo conocieron. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, su amada esposa Maria Blanca Flores, y su querido hijo Heriberto Flores Jr. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Javier Flores (Maricela), Aida Venegas (Juan), Elizabeth Hernandez (Jose), Rene Flores (Nereida), y Martha Torres (Juan). Su legada continúa a través de sus 10 nietos y sus 10 bisnietos. Su partida deja un vacío inmenso en nuestras vidas, pero su legado y su amor vivirán para siempre en cada uno de nosotros. Amigos y familiares se reunirán para un velorio el martes 18 de noviembre de 4:30 pm a 9 pm y un servicio de rosario a las 7 pm en The Lord and I Funeral Home en Peñitas, Texas. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre en la iglesia Our Lady Queen of Angels de La Joya el miércoles, 19 de noviembre, 2025 a las 11:00am. Seguidamente, un entierro en el panteón de La Joya City en La Joya, Texas a las 12:00 p.m. Servicios Funerales serán en The Lord and I Funeral Home en Penitas, Texas.
