Our hearts are broken by the loss of Herm, he always treated us as family, I will always love him for this. A very good man, He's going to be missed.

Uncle Herman, even after my dad was diagnosed with dementia he always asked about you. I'm sure he's happy to be with you again. Rest easy.

Thanks for always sleeping in uncle mark's bed when I came to sleep over as a kid so I could sleep with Grandma lol You told the best stories and scared the crap out of us kids with the ghost ones. I'll never forget those. I can't wait to scare my own grandkids one day when I tell your stories to them. I always knew how proud you were of me and always felt safe and loved in your home. I'm glad Lorenzo was able to bring you joy in your final days and I will always make sure he remembers you. I love you, I'll miss you! Give Grandma a smooch for me (I promise I won't get mad like I used to when I was little and you kissed her in front of me LOL)

His great nephew Jay Joyce and I will miss and cherish all those great telephone calls with you over the years about the Pirates, Phillies, Steelers, Eagles , family, and of course fishing were the usual topics. People, places, jobs and sometimes even loved ones who passed. We all have them. We both knew and talked about this time would come for him and me, but not Jay, he says "he is never going to die". We'd laugh about that. But who knows, maybe he won't. I will always miss sharing a bit of your Beech Nut or Mail Pouch chew back in the day and of course when you would call out to me "Hey Bo" I'll miss you always, Hermando

Uncle Herman, knowing you was a great pleasure I found it very comfortable sitting in your home with your family enjoying the moments.
