Herman was born on July 14, 1944 in Lamar County, AL to the late Clifton Hayes and the late Flossie Eldridge Hayes. He was a 1964 graduate of Sulligent High School, where he was All State Football. Herman proudly joined the U.S. Air Force and honorably served during Vietnam. He was a self-employed Barber, which he retired from. Over the years he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as projects around the house to keep him busy. His loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
