Herman "Paul" Horn Obituary
Herman "Paul" Horn, a lifelong resident of Polk County, Florida, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1948, in Lake Wales, Florida.
Paul dedicated much of his career as a Right of Way Agent for the Department of Transportation, where he worked with commitment and care. Before his professional life, he served his country with honor in Vietnam as a member of the United States Army. He was known for his love of sports and fishing, often spending his free time enjoying these passions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ethel Horn, and his brother Larry Horn. Paul is survived by his brothers, Victor Horn and his wife Marilyn of Lakeland, and Steve Horn of Lake Wales; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service in Paul’s honor will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 30, 2026 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
