Hermila Diamond Obituary
Hermila "Pilley" Diamond, 84, of Live Oak, CA, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Pilley was born to Ynez and Martina Alvarez on January 14, 1940, in Canutillo, Texas, eventually settling in Yuba City, CA, where she attended Tierra Buena School and Yuba City High School. On June 3, 1961, she married her sweetheart Anthony, and they built their life together in Live Oak, CA, raising their five children and running their trucking business.
Pilley was an avid sports fan. She loved the Warriors, the Athletics, and especially the Raiders. Her most favorite team to cheer on was any team her grandchildren played on. She also enjoyed a good book, playing games, and puzzles, but she really enjoyed her trips to the casinos with her sister, Veda.
Pilley is survived by her children: Rosemary Sevilla, Caroline (George) Stillwell, Becky Diamond, Rachel Diamond, and Mark (Rachelle) Diamond; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Anthony.
Services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, 10am, at the Bridge Church, 1104 J Street, Marysville.

My condolences snd love to all of the children many of whom were in my class at Encinal School many years ago. Your mom was such a sweet and caring lady!! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you deal with her loss!

Have many fond memories of my aunt pillie since the age of 6-7 years of age. Every summer we visit my grandma Tina knowing later both my aunts would stop by with her kids our cousin's and play outside for hour's. very special moments to see her,talk to her, and her distinct laugh was for ever a memory. sometimes later in the day drive in her car back to her house to visit was fun. her outdoor pool was lot's of fun. I'm 60 now and just recently my dad and I would go still and I'm thankful I was able to spend time her for a couple days. Rest In Peace miss you / always love you my aunt pillie.

Prayers to family and friends. Our kids went to school together. Although I haven´t seen her in several years I do remember her being such a sweet, kind lady who loved her family. I have fond memories of her. Rest in peace
