Los servicios para Hermila Luna, de 88 años, ama de casa, se llevarán a cabo a las 2:00 p. m., el viernes 3 de octubre de 2025, en la capilla de la funeraria Lacy con el padre James Amasi oficiando. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Alexander. Los arreglos son de Lacy Funeral Home.

Hermila nació en Villa De Nobre De Dios, DGO, México, el 13 de enero de 1937, hija de Gregorio y María (Díaz) Luna. Se casó con José Galindo. Él la precedió en la muerte el 17 de septiembre de 1998.

Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica. A Hermila le encantaba tejer.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a sus hijos, Leopoldo Galindo de Dublin, Texas, Alfredo Galindo y su esposa, Agripina, de Fredericksburg, Texas, María Inés López y su esposo, Rito, de Dublin, Texas, Arturo Galindo de Midland, Texas, Juana De Los Reyes y su esposo, Martin, de Dublin, Texas, y José Luis Galindo y su esposa, Cendy, de Bridgeport, Texas; treinta y un nietos; muchos bisnietos; y tres hermanos. Services for Hermila Luna, 88, homemaker, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Father James Amasi officiating. Burial will follow at Alexander Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Hermila was born in Villa De Nobre De Dios, DGO, Mexico, on January 13, 1937, to Gregorio and Maria (Diaz) Luna. She married Jose Galindo. He preceded her in death September 17, 1998.

She was a member of the Catholic Church. Hermila loved to crochet.

Survivors include her children, Leopoldo Galindo of Dublin, Texas, Alfredo Galindo and wife, Agripina, of Fredericksburg, Texas, Maria Ines Lopez and husband, Rito, of Dublin, Texas, Arturo Galindo of Midland, Texas, Juana De Los Reyes and husband, Martin, of Dublin, Texas, and Jose Luis Galindo and wife, Cendy, of Bridgeport, Texas; thirty-one grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three siblings. She was preceded in death by her children, Isabel Galindo and David Galindo.
