Hermilo Ramirez Obituary
Hermilo Ramirez, 77 passed away April 5th in his Loveland home. He was born Aug 4th 1944 in Poth Texas to Hermilo and Rosalinda Ramirez. On November 10, 1962 Hermilo married Rebecca Ramos in Los Angeles California.
Hermilo worked at McDonald Douglas for several years before moving on to Norththrope Corp for 10 plus years. Hermilo and Rebecca moved to Loveland CO in 1989 where he was employed at AFT for 15 years as a 3rd shift supervisor until he retired.
Hermilo has worn many hats in his life but his best one was spending time with his family and tinkering in his shop. He made many things from bird houses, to walking canes, and furniture.
Hermilo was the jokester of his family and friends, he was always there to make you laugh, tell a joke and put a smile on your face.
Hermilo is survived by his sons Hermilo (Lupy) Ramirez of Fort Collins CO, Steven (Kim) Ramirez of Aurora Missouri, Daughters Yolanda (Rob) Cortez of Loveland CO and Emily (John) Hawkins of Sanford Florida, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, 11 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Ramirez, his parents Hermilo and Rosalinda Ramirez and his brother Daniel Ramirez.
Viewing will be held on Friday 4/22/2022 at Viegut funeral home in Loveland from 5-8pm.
Burial will be held on Saturday 4/23/2022 at Loveland burial park at 10am.
A service will be held at 11am Saturday 4/23/2022 at Lifespring Covenant Church with Rev. Scott Slayback officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hermilo Ramirez Jr memorial fund in care of the Viegut funeral home.
