Hermina Nyhof

Hermina Nyhof, age 93, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Hermina was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church. She graduated from Reformed Bible College and was secretary there for 10 years. She spent 17 years in New Mexico with Christian Reformed Home Missions. She was active as a volunteer, spending most of her time at Bible's for Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertie Nyhof, step-mother Etta Nyhof, infant brother, and brothers, Harvey and Bernard. Hermina is survived by her siblings: Ida and Bernie Groenhof, Jerry and Joan Nyhof, Ray and Sharon Nyhof, Elmer and Leona Nyhof, Robert and Linda Nyhof, Ethel and Michael De Pooter, Ken and Shirley Nyhof, and John and Rose Meengs; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and great nieces and nephews. The Nyhof family would like to thank Appledorn Living Center and Hospice of Holland for the care Hermina received these last several years. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. A time of fellowship will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Kuyper College, Bible League International, or Hospice of Holland. Burial will be at Overisel Cemetery.
