Herminia Ruiz De Paz

Herminia Ruiz de Paz, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Lake Forest, IL. She was born April 13, 1949 in Mexico and came to the United States in 1979. Herminia had been a longtime resident of Chicago, IL and Round Lake, IL, currently living in Prospect Heights, IL. She enjoyed gardening and will be remembered by her family for her homemade cooking, especially Mexican food and her love for spending time with friends & family.
Surviving are 4 children, Griselda (Refungio) Macias, Delfina (Salvador Carlo) Paz, Victoria (Ulises) Gomez and Alejandro Paz; 43 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren and by 2 sisters, Evangelina & Josefina Ruiz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Paz, Sr., her son, Arturo Paz, Jr. and by 4 siblings.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) in Libertyville.
