I never personally met Herschel Martin but I used to listen to him on WSIX radio when he worked there as a disc jockey usually on weekends. I would call him to make song requests. Nice guy.

Mr Martin holds a special place in my heart. He helped me and my wife with friendship and sound financial advise through his years at the credit union. We are still members there. May his soul Rest In Peace!!!
