Hershel Wayne Gober

Hershel was a classmate in OCS, 2d Platoon, 4-62. We sang songs and even wrote one together--music was key to both of us. We both got assignments to West Germany after graduation, but my Airborne unit was miles north of his 'leg' company and drifted apart. Years later -- we occasionally shared memories, no more as I just now learned of his death. Rest well...
