Hershel D. Williams, age 85 of Harrell passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025 at his home. He was born November 20, 1939 in Harrell, Arkansas. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Hampton First Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Met Williams and Grace Karriker Williams; wife, Marjorie Williams; one son, Tracy Williams; three brothers and two sisters. Hershel is survived by three sons, Allen (Elsa) Williams of Hampton, Randy (Kim) Williams of Hampton, Garth (Kelly) Williams of Jacksonville; four sisters, Beulah Helmick of Washington, Joyce Bailey of Shreveport, LA, Jean Bryant of El Dorado, Betty Williams of Washington; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hampton First Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev. Dustin Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
