Hester is survived by her children Karen (Gary) Thurber, Kimberly (Cosmo Catucci), Craig (Karena Krauss) Dunlap and Mark (Mary) Dunlap, treasured grandchildren Gregory (Kristina) Thurber, Laura (Jacob) Joyce, Shannon (Kevin) Brown, Brittany (Matthew) Marcello, Lucas (Denise) Dunlap, Shelby (Jared Cole) Dunlap, Michael, Matthew, Nicholas Dunlap and 8 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a sister-in-law, Marjorie Mead, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations in Hester's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 5 South College Drive, Suite 101, Binghamton, NY 13905. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com. Arrangements for the family are directed by the DeMunn Funeral Home.
