Hilda Florence Driver

Hilda Florence Bannister Driver, 93, widow of the late Norman Reid Driver of Belton, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, November 09, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Lean and Florence King Bannister. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Jo (Don) Wilson of Honea Path; sons, Tony Heyward Driver of Belton and Dan Reid Driver of Williamston; grandchildren, Michael Scott Driver, Sherry Lynn Driver, Cindy Renea Driver, Kirsten Nicole Milford, and Addie Reid Wilson; 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two infant children Randall Allan and Norma Jean Driver; brothers, Leon, Louie and Lamar Bannister; sisters, Seretha Gilliam, Margaret Ashley, Hazel Gilliam, and Sybil Bracther; a granddaughter Tracy Michelle Driver.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy Edmonds and Rev. Dewayne Evans officiating. Burial will follow service at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
The family will be at their respective homes.
