I was a member of Charlotte Road Baptist Church in my highschool years at Bellevue High School. Gay was always wearing a smile and had kind words to share. I loved listening to her play the piano those years at church. She loved music and it showed. She was a kind and gentle person that I was always glad to be around. I was blessed to know her. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is surely singing "Victory in Jesus" as this is one song I remember her playing so beautifully.

I remember Gay (and her brother Wayne) at CRBC. She played for me to sing an occasional solo at the Church. I worked for the phone company and was dispatched to her home on one occasion to work on her land line phone. She gave me her Dad's old black metal lunch box and I still have it (this was years ago) My wife Nancy (also in Heaven) painted it a cream color and I carried my lunch a few times when I was working out of my truck. Every time I saw the lunch box at my home in South Carolina I would think of Gay and her Dad. Gay told me not to loose that lunch box or sell it and I promised to keep it . I know Nancy was there to greet her when she arrived home. May God Bless and Comfort each or you. Tim Gibson

I always made it a point to visit with Gay when she came to visit Roger, Donna, and boys. She was a pleasure.
