On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Hilda Mae Sharplin Myers passed away at age 94 at home in Morton, MS.
Hilda was born on December 13, 1930 in West Carroll Parish, LA. She was a cosmetologist and caregiver.
Hilda loved her family, finding great joy in celebrating Easters and Thanksgivings with many memories made. She worked hard making her home warm, her gardens productive and the dreams of her children a reality.
She is survived by her three children, Hilton, Ellen and Cindy; sister, Betty; brothers, JA and Purvis; three generations of grandchildren, Kevin Kimble, Leigh Ann Thompson, Heather Ogden, Tonya Boydston, Jimmys, David Pierce, Christopher Myers and Dusty Kimble; 19 great grandkids; 3 great-great grandchildren; along with cousins and friends.
Services for Mrs. Hilda will be Saturday, February 1, 2025. Visitation will be 9:00am to 10:50am with the Funeral Service starting at 11:00am in the Chapel. Interment will be at Morton Memorial Gardens.
She will be greatly missed.
