Born on June 2, 1962, and called home on November 11, 2023, Hildreth Overcash, affectionately known as "Hildy," touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. A loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend, Hildy's journey on this earthly plane was one of love, wisdom, and a profound connection to the world around her.
Hildy found her greatest joy in the company of her daughter and grandson, Rachelle and Demitri. Their time together was filled with laughter, love, and shared moments that created an atmosphere of warmth that enriched the lives of her family, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
A natural psychic and practicing Wiccan, Hildy embraced a spiritual journey that illuminated her life and the lives of those around her. Her connection to the mystical and the magical was palpable, and she generously shared her insights with others who sought to explore their own abilities and beliefs. As an inspirational teacher, Hildy guided many on their spiritual path, leaving a legacy of wisdom and enlightenment within the community.
Hildy's passions extended beyond the metaphysical, as she delved into the study of bats with a profound fascination. This love was not only an intellectual pursuit but a deeply personal one, evident in the numerous bat tattoos that adorned her. Her commitment to the study of these creatures reflected her unique appreciation for the beauty found in the often misunderstood.
In celebrating Hildy's life, let us remember the lessons she imparted, the love she shared, and the guidance she provided to all who were fortunate to know her.
Hildy's spirit, like the wings of the bats she so admired, will forever soar in the hearts and minds of those who were touched by her presence. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal embrace of the energies she so deeply understood and connected with during her time on this Earth.
