I was lucky enough to share several trips with Linda and Hilton over the years. I think the first was to Atlantic City, Cape May, and the Amish Community. Hilton got behind the wheel of that big van and escorted us around much better than any Uber driver of today. We also went to try our luck in Las Vegas. Made a trip out to Hoover dam and caught Tanya Tucker at the Orleans Casino. The last trip of note was our trip to Rome. We were able to see Pope Francis in St. Peter´s Square and so many memorable sights that can only be found in Italy. Linda you were my pray buddy for this trip and I will be yours now in this time of sorrow. It was truly an honor knowing you Hilton. You certainly captured the essence of a kind and gentle man in your words. I´m always around to lend an ear if you ever need one. Love you bunches.

My Condolences to Hilton and his entire family. Hilton and I both were in The Louisiana Louisiana Air National Guard together at the Airport in Hammond. He assisted anyone he could that would make the 236th better.

Losing Hilton is a great loss to our community. Even as a teenager, he was a gentleman to all and never changed through the years. During his lengthy illness, he was already missed, not seeing him out and about. What a heritage he has left--extremely smart, but always humble--an amateur radio operator as a teen when the tests were far more difficult than now. In his own quiet way, showing sincere friendliness to all. I'm honored to have been one of his many friends.
