Hiram Pierce Baldwin, age 84, of Arrington, TN passed away August 11, 2025 at his home. He was born in Roanoke, AL to the late William and Lillian Baldwin.
Born with a servant’s heart and a quick mind, Pierce lived a full life marked by faith, hard work, and love for those around him. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he carried the same dedication and discipline into every chapter of his life. After serving in the Air Force, Pierce worked many years as a computer programmer before retiring. He was a talented gardener and took pride in taking care of his garden. Pierce was the one everyone called when something needed fixing, and he could handle almost any problem. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made him loved by all. In the fall, he never missed a chance to cheer for his favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide. Most importantly he had a strong faith in the Lord and enjoyed serving as a deacon at Triune Baptist Church.
Pierce is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane Baldwin; daughters, Jana Louise Baldwin Dotson and Lori Ann Baldwin; grandchildren, Hollie Newcome and Darbi Culbertson; great granddaughter, Leya Victory; daughter in law, Ruth Baldwin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Donald Pierce Baldwin.
A funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Jeffery Elliott officiating. Entombment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00AM-1:00PM prior to the service.
