Holly Aun Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Holly Pei Hua Aun, age 58, on October 28, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on April 4, 1967, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to Mei Chun Xu and Ting Hui Li. Holly moved to Salt Lake City in 1989, where she met and married the love of her life, George Aun, on August 5, 1994.
Holly had a passion for quilting, jewelry making, collecting geodes, gathering with family and friends, and traveling the world. She was a creative soul who found joy in crafting beautiful pieces and exploring new places. Holly loved hosting and attending gatherings, where her warmth and laughter would fill the room, creating lasting memories. Her warm spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband, George Aun; her loving children, Timothy and Ivory; mother Mei; her mother-in-law Shu; her brother-in-law Jeffrey (Rob); her sister-in-law Miriam; her brother-in-law Roger; her sister-in-law Kim (Brian); her sister-in-law Jenny (Ryan); and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and close friends who she considered family.
Funeral services will be held at the 6th Ward LDS Chapel, located at 2255 S. Wasatch Dr., Salt Lake City, UT, on Friday, November 7, 2025. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. After the service, interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, UT, at 3:00 PM.
Holly’s vibrant spirit and loving nature will forever remain in our hearts. Her kindness and unwavering love brought light to everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on all our lives. May she rest in peace.
