Holly Richelle Prenzel, 47, passed away peacefully November 15, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Holly was born December 22, 1977, to Regina (Prenzel) Teague in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Holly loved being outdoors and found her peace in nature. Some of her favorite places to be was on a creek, river, or a backroad with her friends and family. She was a free spirit that felt most connected while outside. Holly also had a green thumb; she loved to be at her Grandma Helen's helping her with her flowers and the garden. Throughout the years she was always buying new plants or finding old plants and taking them home to tend to them. Another thing Holly loved was music, from Waylon Jennings to Apple Bottom Jeans; she always found a song to fit the mood. She danced to the beat of her own drum and didn’t care if anyone was watching.
Holly became an LPN in 2009. She loved being able to help and be a voice to people when they couldn’t help themselves. She provided great care, support and love to all her patients and residents. They looked forward to seeing her smile and hearing her voice during times they needed. Not only did she provide comfort and care to the people she took care of but the ones they loved as well. She was a wonderful nurse and the one that most people wanted and loved to see clock in for the shift.
Holly is the mother of Rayni, Rylan and Remington Seesengood. She and Jeff Seesengood shared a love that is shown through their children. They fell in love early in life and created three beautiful children together. She loved her kids more than anything in this world and let everyone know it. She was so proud of how strong, resilient and caring they had all become. She left them with the best qualities of herself. Holly taught her children how to forgive, love deeply and most importantly to have fun through any challenge that life would throw at them.
Holly is survived by her three children, Rayni, Rylan and Remington Seesengood; the father of her children, Jeff Seesengood; Sister, Hillary Deaton; Brother, Kyle Teague (Jessica Teague); two aunts whom she loved dearly; Treana Whitworth (Steve Whitworth) and Vicki Lee. She is also survived by three step-siblings, many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly as well. Holly is preceded in death by her mother, Regina (Prenzel) Teague; grandparents, Helen Prenzel Kearbey and Alford Prenzel.
Holly’s celebration of life will be held at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Memorial gathering will be from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. This is a drop in celebration, and no service will follow.
