Homer Dale Griffin, 72, was safely delivered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 29, 2025 with his son by his side. He was greeted in Heaven by his wife, Debra Colette and daughter, Deborah.
Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Robert Massie Funeral Home; the family will receive friends from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at First Baptist Church of San Angelo. Burial will follow in Belvedere Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Griffin was born on December 27, 1952 in San Angelo to Homer and Julia Shelton Griffin. Homer graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1970 and attended Angelo State University. Homer married Debra Williams on January 9, 1978 in Abilene. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2016. Homer owned and operated Homer Griffin Real Estate and was a member of the National Association of REALTORS. He was an accomplished Pianist and played at First Baptist Church, Eola Baptist Church and at Westside Baptist Church. Homer was a past member of the River Club. Homer was a kind, gentle, christian man.
Homer is survived by his son, John Griffin; daughter-in-law, Jenny Griffin, three grandchildren, Kaden Griffin and wife Kristen, Karly Griffin, and Kendall Griffin all of Houston; and a great grandson, Jax Griffin of Houston.
