A son of the late Clarence Swafford and Willie Mae Edmonds Swafford, he was born July 14, 1942 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a graduate of Toccoa High School. He was employed with Oxford Industries for a number of years and later with Orbit Industries until his retirement. He was the last immediate member of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Swafford.
Graveside service to be held Monday, June 9, 2025, 11 a.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Homer Cecil Swafford.
