Ms. Hortense Thomas West

Tommy was my next door neighbor at Primrose and we became very good friends. I loved to hear her stories about her wonderful husband Bobby. I miss her and pray that she is resting in peace with the Lord.

Her pursuit of her dreams and education without allowing age to deter her goals made her later years very fruitful and fulfilling. As George Elliot stated, "It is never too late to be what you might have been".

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Hortense. She was a beautiful Lady who always was there for others. I was lucky to know Hortense and Bob West for many years and have many great memories of the West Family.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Mrs. West was a very dear friend to my family and myself. She was always upbeat and happy with encouraging words and support. I will always remember the many conversations I had with her and the times that I spent with her. I will miss talking with her.
