Howard Earl Boyles, 96, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on March 7, 1928 to the late Rodney and Mary Boyles. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Terry Boyles; and siblings, Calvin, JD, Ruth, and Ruby.
Howard proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a dedicated member of Cramerton Freewill Baptist Church. He was a hard worker and loved his family above all else. Howard leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Phillips Boyles; sons, Ronnie Boyles (Peggy), and Ricky Boyles; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Boyles; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ben, Kelly, Will, Drew, Anthony, and Christina; and his great-grandchildren, Michael, Cohen, Adeline, and Anders; and his great-greatgrandchild, Dallas.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Cramerton Freewill Baptist Church, 426 Woodlawn Avenue, Cramerton, NC 28032. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Josh Baer officiating. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
