Howard Barry Frum

Howard Barry Frum, 83, son of the late Sarah and Benjamin Frum, passed away surrounded by family and dear friends who meant the world to him. Beloved husband of 33 years to Hal "Bunny" Frum and cherished brother of Gail (Daniel) Kamm. Howard was a devoted father in every way of the heart of Travis (Kindle) Filipowski. He was a proud uncle to a large and loving family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. For 47 years, Howard was a renowed watch dealer and jeweler, known for his expertise and integrity as the owner of Howard Frum Jewelers with longtime partner Maurice (Ronit) Tal. Howard served as President and Vice President of the IWJG organization for many years. He lived his life as a member of the Chicago community, and he was such an engaged, charitable citizen. A man of deep Jewish faith, Howard's life was marked by love, loyalty, and profound devotion to family. He will always be remembered for his generosity, spirit, enduring friendships, and the joy he brought to everyone he met. "Wanna Buy A Watch?" Howard Frum will never be forgotten.
