I enjoyed chatting with him when he visited the Utica Zoo with his wife Jan who volunteers there. Always enjoyed an ice cream sandwich when there.

I had Mr. Heffron for a substitute teacher and was just chatting about him the other day. I always loved when he came to our class and played "pick your poison" where we were randomly given a word in the dictionary to spell and to attempt to define! May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Heffron's passing. I knew Mr. Heffron as my Varsity swimming coach for two years. I clearly remember his love and enthusiasm for swimming. I also remember his advocacy for me during that time. I respected and still respect him. It was good to have known you Coach Heffron.
