Howard Mills Obituary
Howard Stephen "Steve" Mills age 80 of Boones Mill passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia G. Mills; Son, Richard Mills; Daughter & Son-in-law, Amanda & Darren Steiner; Sister, Katherine Slone; Five Grandchildren; and four Great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Douglas Howard Mills; Parents, H. Arthur Mills & Margaret E. Mills; Brother, A. Chester Mills; and Brother-in-law, Lacy Slone.
Steve was a lifelong resident of Boones Mill, who lived a full life of 80 years, will be deeply missed by his large and loving family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His passing at home is a testament to the comfort and love that surrounded him in his final days.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, January 13, 2025, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one prior to the service beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home.
