HOWARD MARTIN POFF SR. 1925 – 2018 Howard Martin Poff Sr. age 70 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Plattsmouth Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 25, 1947 to Joseph Richard and Doris Maude (Case) Poff in Omaha, NE. Howard was raised and schooled in Omaha. He had worked for Vogel Paint Company and he had been a minister of the Pentecostal Faith in Council Bluffs, IA. Howard was a minister with the Light of The Word Pentecostal Church in Council Bluffs, IA., and had lived in the Papillion-La Vista area. Due to declining health, Howard had been a resident at Plattsmouth Care and Rehab Center in Plattsmouth. Howard was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Doris Poff, brother: Joseph Poff, and two sisters: Lorraine Myers and Bonnie Knoke. He is survived by his son: Howard Poff Jr., his sister: Betty Cole of La Vista, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. A Private Graveside Memorial Service will be held at East Union Cemetery in rural Union, NE with Leonard LaHair officiating and Charles Cole as eulogist.
