Mr. Howard Lesley Redmon, son of Nella Redmon Miller and Howard Wellman, Jr. was born September 8, 1974 in Alexander County Hospital. He departed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the age of 49.
He was a member of Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory, NC. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Hatti Wellman, Howard Redmon Sr., and Beluah Redmon.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Nella Redmon Miller; his father, Howard Wellman, Jr.; his grandmother, Alene Howell; his daughter, Shatara King Redmon of Alexander County; his sons, Lashan Redmon of Alexander County, Malek Redmon Patterson of Lenoir; his sisters, Sheena Carlton of Hickory, NC, Erica Price of Reidsville, NC; his brothers, James Miller, John Miller, Monty Redmon, Barry Hamilton, Dominique Speaks all of Alexander County, Jeremy Miller of Hickory, NC, Nathaniel Hicks of Winston-Salem, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jeffrey Miller will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. prior to the service.
