Howard E. "Skip" Roberts III

Howard "Skip" Roberts, of Hamilton Square, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on November 5, 1942, Skip spent his life building strong roots in the community he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose steady presence and warm spirit touched all who knew him.

Skip dedicated many years of hard work and leadership to his career. He began as a proud Philadelphia Union Iron Worker, a trade that reflected his strength, skill, and work ethic. He later served as Head of Construction for Bradco Supply Corporation and went on to work as a property manager for B & D Holdings. Throughout his career, he was respected for his integrity, knowledge, and commitment to doing the job right.

Skip is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Roberts; his daughters, Dawn Rossell and Rhonda Rohloff; and his sons-in-law, Christopher Rossell and Jesse Rohloff. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to five grandchildren: Tyler Rossell, Laney Rossell, Paige Rohloff, Logan Rohloff, and Emilia Rohloff, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his four younger sisters, Mary Bakeoven, Mabel Esposito, Mozzelle Stevens, and Andrea Torpey.

Skip was a proud Brother of the Hamilton Gothic Lodge and a member of Trenton Forest Tall Cedars #4, where he formed lasting friendships and remained active in fellowship and service.

He had a true love for golfing, traveling, and keeping up with the latest technology. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family. He was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan and especially loved cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles, celebrating their victories with enthusiasm and unwavering pride.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to family, and the deep love he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
