Hoyt Ray Faircloth, 85, of Hope Mills passed away on Sunday August 24, 2025. A graveside service was held on Wednesday August 27, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Independent Church in Bladenboro at 10am by Pastor Danny Jarmon.
He was born in Robeson Co. to the late Clyde Woodrow Faircloth and Letha Jackson Faircloth. Hoyt gave his heart to Christ at the age of 65 and faithfully served him for the remainder of his earthly life. He loved farming and having a garden full of vegetables that he shared with his neighbors and church family. He loved taking long walks in the woods and enjoying the simple things in life. He also enjoyed his time at McDonalds with his friends catching up on all the town events. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him great joy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Glenda Smith Faircloth and brother Gary Lavern Faircloth.
He is survived by his daughters Tamara Argueta (Ron) and Brenda Harrison (Barron); grandchildren Jordan Argueta (Daina), Jaden Argueta, Eliana Harrison, and Michael Harrison, great grandchild Miles Argueta; and sister Carolyn Ray (Johnny).
