Hristos Siafakas

Hristos Siafakas,86, of Enfield, Beloved husband of Areti (Vasilopoulou) Siafakas, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Woodlake in Tolland. Born and raised in Klisorevmata Greece, he moved to Agrinio, where he opened his barbershop and met his wife and the love of his life. He then moved to Athens in 1968 before his family immigrated to the U.S., residing in New York. Hristos worked as a delivery driver for Goodyear in Astoria, New York. He later worked as a delivery driver for a restaurant supply company and had to retire due to an injury. In his free time,he loved fishing, gardening, as well as traveling, especially going back to his native home in Greece.
Besides his wife Areti, he is survive by a daughter Anthi Panatsas, of Enfield, a son, Nick Siafakas and his wife Angela of East Haddam, Connecticut, two brothers, Thanasis Siafakas, Sotirios Siafakas and his wife Niovi, two sisters, Christina Konstandakopoulos and her husband Andreas, Panagiota Zagorisios and her husband, Vasilios. He also leaves four grandchildren, Chris, Bobby, Nick, and Areti. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Panatsas and several siblings.
Family and friends are welcome for an hour visitation from 10 to 11 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Saint George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 22 St. George Rd, Springfield, MA 01104.
