Hubert Kimbrell Obituary
Dennis was born in Moultrie, GA on January 18, 1957 to Hubert and Annette McCalvin Kimbrell. He grew up in Ft. Valley, GA, Americus, GA and Albany, GA and graduated from Westover High School in 1975. He, along with his brother, Terry, owned and operated Kimbrell Construction Company.He was an excellent trim carpenter and was sought out from contractors and the general public in the Albany area for many years before moving to Santa Rosa Beach, FL in 2005.Dennis had lived in DeFuniak Springs, FL since 2013 and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, fishing, the outdoors and especially golf.
Survivors include his mother, Annette Kimbrell, a brother, Terry Kimbrell (Sheila) all of Niceville, FL and two nephews, Ryan Kimbrell (Emily) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Nick Kimbrell of Niceville, FL.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 25, 2025 from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Dennis to American Lung Association, Emphysema Research at lung.org.
