Hubert Cannon "Buddy" McCraw

MCCRAW- Hubert C. McCraw, Jr. lovingly known as Buddy or Mac to his friends, passed away August 15, 2023 at his residence. He was born and grew up in Laurel, MS. He married his wife, Louise, before serving our country in the military. He hired on with Humble Oil, which later became known as Exxon Mobile, and retired after 36 years. Buddy, a family man, loved his wife dearly and always enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church where he served as deacon for a number of years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Hubert C. McCraw, Sr., along with his brothers, Richard and Lester McCraw. He is survived by his wife, Louise, of 64 years; son, Mike McCraw (Stephanie); and daughters Vicky Madden (Craig) and Tracey Lowery (Philip); grandchildren Brittany Hague (Corey), Austin McCraw, Hunter Madden, Megan Madden, Logan Lowery, Madison Lowery, and Dylan Nash; great grandchildren Rhett, Tripp, and Riggs Hague.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning August 19, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME BREWTON, ALABAMA.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday morning August 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Catawba Springs Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama Directing.
