Mr. Hubert Lee Scruggs, age 90, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on March 26, 2024.  He was born July 30, 1933 in Macon County, TN to the late Clarence Lee Scruggs and Hortense Harp Scruggs.

Mr. Scruggs was a member and deacon of New Zion General Baptist Church.  He was a United States Army Veteran, who proudly served his country.
 
Hubert is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Scruggs; his son, Keith Lee Scruggs (Dawn); his daughter, Karala Shrum; his grandchildren, Aaron Keith Scruggs, Andrea Dawn Scruggs, Jaelyn Klotz and Jerika Sisco (Will); his great-grandchildren, Ethan Klotz and Gemma Sisco; his sister-in-law, Louise Scruggs; and a host of loving family and friends.
 
Hubert is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Hortense Scruggs; his brothers, Hollis Scruggs and Earl Scruggs; and his sisters, Doyle Howser and infant Mary Ann Scruggs.
 
The service for Mr. Hubert Scruggs will be held on Saturday, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. David Scruggs and Bro. Joe Brown officiating. Interment will follow in New Zion Cemetery.
 
Visitation: Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Do Re Mi Gospel Music School. These can be made by calling or coming by the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
