So sorry for your loss. Mr. Baird was my Earth science teacher and classroom drivers Ed teacher. I was originally in regents but had to go down to non regents and he let me stay in his class, just work at a slower pace. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss, and our loss. What a truly nice man. Hugh and I rode together to UE for years. Never heard a cross word and heard some great stories. Most revolved around auto racing, but many about his family. A natural teacher who earned the respect of both fellow teachers and students alike. He also tutored CV kids and was the reason our daughter passed Earth Science. Thanks Hugo! We all will miss him!

Mr Baird was my Earth Science teacher at Union Endicott High School. He was one of my favorite teachers. He made the transition to the high school much easier.

Mr. Baird was my Earth Science teacher at HBE. Whenever friends and I reminisce about those days Mr. Baird is always mentioned as one of our favorite teachers. To this day, every time I see a meandering stream I think of his science class. He was funny, kind and related well to his students.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
