Hugh Paul Crowley age 85 of Cumberland, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Mr. Crowley was born January 2, 1940, to Dewey Ola Crowley and Myrtle Zethel Henley Crowley in Lee County, Mississippi. He was a retired factory worker and member of Marvin Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Cumberland, Mississippi. Mr. Crowley is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Hathaway Crowley of Cumberland, Mississippi; one daughter, Shelia (Ricky) Crowley Doss of Houston, Mississippi; one son, Ronnie (Julie) Crowley of Dancy, Mississippi and six grandchildren, Lexie Doss, Autumn Doss, Ryan Crowley, Luke (Peyton) Crowley, Chad Crowley and Justin Crowley. He is preceded in death by both his parents, Dewey Ola Crowley and Myrtle Zethel Henley Crowley and one son Barry Crowley. Funeral Services for Mr. Crowley will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Marvin Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Cumberland, Mississippi. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery at Marvin Hill. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held inside the church at Marvin Hill Congregational Methodist Church instead of the Marvin Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 3:00PM until time for services at 4:00PM at Marvin Hill Congregational Methodist Church. Rev. Donnie Buckner and Bro. Randy Perkins will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Mike Crowley, Eddie Murphree, Vic Nickels, Hayden Nickels, Bruce Edwards and Bill Gilliland. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Crowley family.
