Hugh Franklin Hallums, Jr., age 79 of Adairville, KY, passed from this life on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 PM until the time of service.

Mr. Hallums was born July 30, 1946 in Springfield, TN to the late Hugh Franklin and Mary Agnes Norris Hallums, Sr. He was a member of Battle Creek Baptist Church and was formerly a member of Calvary General Baptist Church. He worked for a long time at Unarco and did upholstery work with his father. He enjoyed talking on the CB radio, motorcycles, antique cars, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Daryle Hallums, and a sister, Patricia Hallums.

Surviving him are his wife of nearly 58 years, Mary Jane Grant Hallums of Adairville, KY; sons, Timothy Mark Hallums of Coopertown and Shawn Franklin (Pamela) Hallums of Adairville, KY; granddaughters, Tabitha Hallums, Emaly Hallums Guy, Heaven Marie Hallums, Alaina Nicole Hallums, and Katelynn Renee Hallums; great grandchildren, Mariah Hunter, Lativious Ashley, and Carter James Guy; brother, John Norman Hallums of Coopertown; and sister Marjorie Jean Hallums (Roger) Elliott of Coopertown.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to either Isaiah 117 House of Russellville, KY or My Father's House. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
