Dear Bruce, Annie, Brenda, Craig, and family

I have some very fond memories of visits with Hughie and Marion's and their clan over the years. When visiting I always felt warmly welcomed and I was so glad to soak up the stories and songs that Hughie shared with us all. I am sorry I cannot be there to pay my respects in person as you gather to celebrate his life. Take care of each other and I hope we will see each other before too long to share more stories in good company.

With love,
Alasdair

My very sincerest condolences to Brenda, Craig and Family and Bruce, Annie and Family,

We were so sad to hear that your dear Dad, Granddad and Father-in-law has passed away. He was well loved by all of his extended family and many others whose life he had touched.
Your Dad had written a poem a long time ago called "Memories" it was written in Gaelic and translated into English. Here is one of the verses I would like to share as it reminds us to always remember that our family members and our ancestors who have gone before us had very full lives, lots of good memories and maybe a few not so good but all to be cherished.

"Our parents tell tales of when they were young,
Of places they'd been and things they had done
Oh, how we wish we would have been there
To share in their country childhood."

Many of us were "there" at one time or another and can share in his "Memories"

I loved you and I will miss you my dear Uncle Hughie,

Rest in Peace for eternity.

Love,

Barbara, Vic and Family
