Hunter Allen Clement

Hunter Allen Clement, 26, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Gouldsboro, Maine. Born on May 30, 1999, in Ellsworth, Maine, Hunter brought warmth and light to those around him from the very beginning.
A graduate of Sumner Memorial High School, Hunter pursued his interests with passion and determination. During his high school years, he earned his scuba diving certification-an early testament to his adventurous spirit and love for the natural world.
Hunter had a deep connection to the outdoors. Whether boating along the coast, casting a line into quiet waters, or setting up camp under the stars, he found peace and joy in nature. He was also an accomplished gardener who took pride in nurturing life from the soil.
His commitment to community was evident through his active membership at Prospect Harbor United Methodist Church and his service as a junior firefighter with the Gouldsboro Volunteer Fire Department. These roles spoke to his generous heart and unwavering willingness to help others.
From a young age, it was clear that Hunter possessed an old soul. His conversations often carried wisdom beyond his years, and he approached life with a depth of understanding that left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Fiercely protective of those he loved, Hunter never hesitated to offer support or kindness. He had a gift for making strangers feel like friends and friends feel like family.
Hunter is survived by his parents: Kendra (Baughman-Cressman) Clement of Portland and Craig A. Clement of Nashua, New Hampshire; his brother William Creapaux; and sisters Alexandria Creapaux and Erika (Leavitt) Matinage.
Hunter's presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his memory bring comfort and strength to those who carry him in their hearts. A Wake will be held on November 15, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Dolby, Blais and Segee 434 River Road Windham. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 23, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Gouldsboro Historical Society 88 Old Route 1. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you bring a nonperishable item to be donated to the local food pantry.
