Hunter Miller-McDougall

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we celebrate the life of Hunter Pham Miller-McDougall, also known as "Handsome", age 9, who passed away on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 at his home in Anchorage, Alaska.
Hunter was born on July 27th, 2016 to Crystal Miller and Helen McDougall. Hunter packed more adventure, laughter, and side eye into his nine years than most manage in a lifetime.
Known for his smile, love for Baby Shark, Mickey Mouse, and smelly farts, Hunter brightened every room he entered. Whether he was skiing with Challenge Alaska, participating in Special Olympic activities, or enjoying his Hawaiian vacations, Hunter reminded us all that joy is found in the simplest moments.
Hunter is survived by his loving parents Crystal Miller and Helen McDougall, Step-Mother Carley Miller, his Step-Sister Maisareen Azzam, Grandparents Phillip Miller, Pete McDougall, Jackie McDougall, Great Uncles & Aunts Richard and Babette Miller, Thomas and Barbara Miller, George and Kathryn Miller, and John Miller, Aunt Donna Anthony, and Aunt Hue Parcle, Cousins Lindsey Miller, Sam Miller, Jack Miller, Ricky Miller, and numerous other friends and family in life.
Hunter was proceeded in death by his Grandma Carline Miller, Great Grandmother Opal (Nana) Miller, Great Grandfather Richard (Papa) Miller, Cousin Katie Miller.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hunter's long-time care provider, Sherry Williams. Her dedicated and compassionate care brought comfort and joy to Hunter throughout his life. Sherry's unwavering support, kindness, and attention played a significant role in enriching Hunter's days. The family deeply appreciates everything Sherry has done for Hunter.
All who met and loved Hunter will forever cherish his playful spirit and countless memories of his antics and hugs. Though his time here was far too short, his laughter echoes in our hearts and his sparkle will never fade.
A celebration of Hunter's life will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at 1pm at The Legacy Heritage Chapel at Angelus. The family requests donations to any of the following charities in Hunter's name to honor his legacy: Make A Wish Foundation, Seattle Children's Hospital, or Challenge Alaska.
We will remember Hunter through our laughter, smiles, shared stories, and fond memories of a playful spirit who showed us the meaning of love.
